RYA Sailing Course on the Oceania July 6th - July 12th

Dear participant,  We are delighted you will be joining us and look forward to meeting you in person!  We would also like to take this opportunity to provide some information that will make your preparation for the trip much smoother!

On the start date of your course...

Things to bring along 

• An ID-sized photo from both of you for your certificate, if everything goes well during the course. Without the photo, we will not be able to issue a certificate directly after the course, meaning that you will receive it with delay.
• Sun hat or cap to protect your face and eyes from the strong Mediterranean sun
• Sunglasses with polarized lenses to reduce glare on the water
• Lightweight, breathable long-sleeved shirts to protect your skin from the sun and wind
• Quick-dry shorts or swim trunks for when you're swimming or on the beach
• Waterproof windbreaker or light jacket  to protect you from occasional rain and wind
• Non-slip boat shoes or sandals with good grip to avoid slipping on the wet deck
• Sunscreen with high SPF to protect your skin from the strong UV rays
• Light-weight cotton or linen pants and sweatshirts for when it gets cooler in the evening.
