Without the Commercial Endorsement, RYA certificates such as Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper, and Yachtmaster are valid only for recreational sailing. With the endorsement, you unlock opportunities to:

To apply for an RYA Commercial Endorsement, you need to provide:
- Eligible RYA Certificate or Certificate of Competence
- ENG1 or ML5 medical fitness certificate or equivalent

- RYA First Aid or STCW Elementary First Aid
- RYA Basic Sea Survival or STCW Personal Survival Techniques
